Senator Nick Jordan was appointed to Senate in 1995, and elected to the Kansas Senate in 1996. Senator Jordan’s issues of concern include economic development, travel and tourism, education, and property taxes.
Senator Jordan is a member of the Shawnee Chamber of Commerce, the Merriam Chamber of Commerce, and the Shawnee Rotary Club. He also is the current Vice Chair of the Kansas Travel and Tourism Commission, as well as on the Board of Directors of the Prison Fellowship of Kansas/Kansas City, Lakeview Village, and Mid-America Manufacturing Technology Center.
